All my songwriting comes from personal memories and experiences of the people I know, and this song really captures the times I’ve been let down by those who got closest to me.
Queer music can often be a binary, camp disco fest, or tragic tear flowing ballad.. but much of what I’ve been raised with, and what we love in our community, is chill and very narrative driven.
While I search that elusive banger to release 😅 it’s gorgeous to capture the deep thoughts, longing, sadness I’ve felt in a very post-party, stuck-up-at-night and yes, non-binary way!
